Big Dawg for the Little Dawgs!  By Kathy Ives

     On Sunday, July 16, 2006 The Lakes of Cypress Hill hosted the Big Dawg for the Little Dawgs. Skiers were required to ski at 17 or 19
     mph @ 35 off the line and allowed to make 3 attempts at the Big Dawg line length behind the Bumble Bee colored Malibu! Thanks to
     Tyler Boyd for this “Fun” event idea where he allows two of his students, the Ay twins, to try this if they ski hard and have a good
     training set. They care more about trying 35 off than running 24 mph at 15 off

 Junior Skiers participating in this exciting event were Trey Jimmerson, Matthew Pierce, Collin Hamilton, Jacob Sackett, Rick Ay, Colton Sackett, Mark Ay, Sara Stevenson, Rebekah Stevenson and Madeline Pierce.

 The Boat Driver was Mike Hamilton, the Boat Judge was Lauren Jimmerson and the Videographer for the event was Richard Ay. Jeff Greathouse announced the event and had the crowd on shore up and cheering. Lauren Jimmerson became the Boat Judge when in the 3^rd round of the Record Tournament she got crossways with her slalom binding and could not participate in the Big Dawg event. 

All skiers received Big Dawg medals. 

The scores were:

• Trey Jimmerson - 3 ½

• Matthew Pierce - 3 valiant attempts

• Collin Hamilton - ½

• Jacob Sackett - ½

• Rick Ay - ¼ despite risking life and limb! We are not joking!! Definite future daredevil!!!

• Colton Sackett - 3

• Mark Ay - 1

• Sara Stevenson – 3 valiant attempts

• Rebekah Stevenson – ¼

• Madeline Pierce – ½
