Paul Barker - President

Paul Barker is responsible for overseeing The Afterburner Group's daily operations and long-term growth. As seasoned technology executive, Barker brings 23 years of management, marketing, and technical product/service experience. His expertise spans startups to multi-billion dollar, multi-national corporations, running businesses, business units, marketing, technical, and product organizations. Mr. Barker brings keen insight into leadership, strategies, processes, methodologies, resources, tools, and measurements that create value, grow revenue, and profit.

A business leader, market leader, and entrepreneur, Mr. Barker has held prior executive positions such as President, Vice President and General Manager, V.P. Worldwide Marketing and Communications, Director of Strategic Planning, Director of Technical Marketing, Director of Enabling Technologies, National Sales Manager, and Manager of Business Development for such companies as Apple Computer, BMC Software, JD Edwards Software, Navigist, RLX Technologies, and Wireless Telecom. Mr. Barker holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Iowa State University.

Simon Eastwick - Vice President

A 20 year veteran of the high-tech industry, Simon Eastwick has a wealth of leadership experience combined with expertise in establishing people and companies as leaders in the marketplace. Prior to this assignment, Eastwick served in a variety of corporate leadership roles and industries including hardware and software, industrial tools, cable, broadcast, and real estate. Simon brings unparalleled expertise in marketing and communications having worked for and with corporations ranging from venture-backed startups to global, Fortune 50 corporations. In these engagements, Simon has held senior management roles with companies such as Compaq Computer Corporation and RLX Technologies. He also has spent numerous years on the agency side of the business in Boston and the Silicon Valley, as well as a producer in the broadcast industry in New England.

An expert at driving clear, consistent, and high-impact communication, Mr. Eastwick has mastered the art of 'influencing the influencers' - through decades of personal interaction with the leading technology-oriented analyst and media organizations. By this, Eastwick maintains a broad portfolio of relationships, methodologies, and process to drive mindshare within the industry analyst and press communities - resulting in significant gains in positive perception in industry, marketplaces, and customers.

Mr. Eastwick holds a Masters in Communications from Emerson College and a BS in Communications from The University of Texas at Austin.

Justine Finnett - Strategic Growth Initiatives

Justine Finnett has joined The Afterburner Group as an Associate focusing on strategic growth initiatives. Finnett brings with her 20 years experience in Sales and Marketing working for some of the largest global technology powerhouses. Her previous responsibilities span all facets of sales and marketing, from her initial sales roles in the UK and Europe, through field marketing, product marketing, product planning and Corporate Marketing positions. Most recently Finnett held the role of Sr Vice President Sales & Marketing for a Corporate Aviation Services company.

Justine's breadth and depth of experience is a perfect fit for The Afterburner Group. Many of our clients are looking for strategic growth advice based on real life experience and the benefits of hindsight this brings. The type of roles and seniority level that Justine has experienced in her career, positions her well for these types of projects.
